Breast Cancer Style Show
Breast Cancer Awareness was observed on Tuesday, October 18, at Sandhills High School. The day started out with a splash of color when most of the student body wore all kinds of pink to show their support.
The day continued on with a competitive fashion show held at lunch. The students were split up into teams, dressed up their selected models and walked the run way for the judges. The winner of the fashion show was Team 1 with Paige Martindale, Sheven Rodocker, Ridge Anderson, Evan Hewitt, Bryan Zutavern, Kylie Hewitt, Zack Bradley, and Jenna Christie.
The FBLA then held a cake auction of homemade cakes and cupcakes to raise money for the Sandhills Cancer Fund. The day ended with both communities supporting Breast Cancer Awareness with a Pink Out at the Sandhills-Thedford vs. North Central volleyball game.
