BEEF IN SCHOOL NEEDED
At Sandhills Public Schools we have had the great fortune of participating in the Beef In Schools Program. There have been a number of families that have generously donated beef to our school or money to pay for the processing. This gives our school two definite benefits. First, it helps to keep the costs of providing meals to the kids down. Secondly, and most importantly, our kids get to eat the best beef in the world for their school lunches. I don't know if everyone knows this, but our cafeteria at Sandhills is widely known as the best.
If you or someone you know would be willing to participate in the Beef in Schools Program please call J.D. at the school (308)-538-2224. We are looking for at least one and possibly two more critters to get us through the school year and into next year.
